My work Impromptu …gris et vert… was written for the wedding of my friend Mark Jensen – the light grey colour is for the flute (symbolising his wife Isa), while the down-to-earth green is portrayed by the guitar. A love affair between earth and air. Two very opposite personalities seek, and at the same time flee from one another. The pair executes a "pas de deux" fugue between two solo cadences.
