Works for guitar duo - compositions & arrangements
a new series for guitar duo
I have regularly worked alongside other guitarists - most recently with Fabian Spindler. This cooperation has produced both our own compositions and arrangements of major works of other composers. This instrumentation is novel to most of them and was recorded on sound carriers: the Chromatic Fantasia and Fuge (Bach), El Albaícyn and El Puerto (Albéniz), Suite Bergamasque (Debussy), Le Tombeau de Couperin (Ravel) and Good-bye Pork Pie Hat (Mingus).
My own half-hour artPop cycle ‘Bottom's Dream’ (2008) is a panorama of current popular styles from various cultures of our age.
